ICRA 2025 Concludes with Record-Breaking Success

The 2025 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) wrapped on Friday, 23 May, to record-breaking success. An unprecedented 7,006 individuals registered to learn the latest advancements in robotics and automation. With 2,107 technical presentations delivered in 326 technical sessions and 23-24 parallel tracks, the research unveiled at the conference marked some of the most significant new discoveries in the field. In addition, three plenary and 58 keynote speakers provided a holistic snapshot of robotics’ evolution and what’s on the research and development horizon (all to be available via the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society YouTube channel).

On the commercial side, 141 exhibitors and 14 sponsors demonstrated the latest robotics technology and debuted new product offerings while the ICRA Expo showcased research in progress from leading academic institutions and partners. The Innovation Stage and the Tech Talk Stage offered the latest in start-up advances and new possibilities, illuminating the future of robotics in new ways.

Overall, ICRA assembled the global robotics community for education, dialogue, and developments. These collaborative discussions and learnings provided a solid foundation to advance robotics and automation for the benefit of society.
