The RAS Travel Grants, as part of the RAS Member Support Program, provides additional funding to selected RAS member authors of accepted papers to make travel to the conference more affordable.
RAS Travel Grant
Thanks to the generous support of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, applications for travel support are invited, to facilitate authors of accepted papers to travel to the conference. To be eligible, an applicant must be in one of the following two categories:
- Student Members of IEEE Robotics and Automation Society with accepted papers.
- Members of IEEE Robotics and Automation Society with accepted papers, from developing countries as determined by the Developing Country Listing.

- Application deadline: February 20, 2025
- Notification of award: February 28, 2025
Application Process
The application deadline for support was on February 20th and any later applications are not evaluated for travel support.
We are unable to extend any deadlines as grants and funding have already been allocated for the conference.
Applications are reviewed on a competitive basis.
To claim the travel grant – typically valued at US$1500 – recipients must provide proof of attendance (registration), RAS membership, and paper acceptance.
For ICRA 2025, most travel grants will be prepaid hotel rooms by RAS with limited exceptions, additional details will be sent to accepted applicants.
