Media attendance at ICRA 2025

Journalists attending ICRA 2025 will discover the latest innovations and advancements in robotics and automation. The event will provide first-hand access to the most cutting-edge robotics technology in the world today – and as a journalist with an approved press pass, you will have a rare and exclusive opportunity to meet and interview the pioneers behind them. Photography and filming opportunities will also be available.

About ICRA 2025

ICRA is the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society’s flagship conference. It’s a global event that has been hosted around the world – from San Francisco to Shanghai – since 1984. It brings together the world’s top academics, researchers, and industry representatives – and we expect more than 7,000 people to attend the ICRA 2025 conference, which is being held in Atlanta, GA.

The conference is being held at the George World Congress Center, Atlanta GA between 19 and 23 May 2025. The event will share the latest research and findings in robotics and automation and will include a range of workshops and tutorial sessions, forums, exhibitions, robot competitions and a range of social events.

Press Registration

If you are a qualified member of the media, we are happy to provide you with complimentary registration for the ICRA 2025 in Atlanta in exchange for coverage.

To register, you must first complete the Press Credential Application form including your publication name, and any ONE of the following credentials: 

  • Masthead from a current issue of a technology publication, online publication, or blog listing you as an editorial contributor.
  • Technology article published within the past three months with your byline.
  • Letter from the editor/producer on official letterhead or from a company email address that states you are covering ICRA 2025 on assignment.
  • Press photo ID from your media outlet.

Note: Online media must also provide a recent monthly traffic report from an external demographic tool, like Google Analytics, verifying the online publication or blog gets 1000 or more unique monthly visitors. The site must be previously established, independent and regularly updated with original and current technology news. Personal YouTube, Twitter pages, personal blogs, forums, user groups and communities will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Once our committee has verified your submission, you will receive an email confirming your complimentary registration. If you do not qualify as press after vetting, regular registration rates will apply.

Your media pass will provide you access to all sessions, events, and the exhibit hall during show hours. Please note there will not be a dedicated press room.

Further, we request within 6 weeks after the event you will agree to print or post online your coverage of the event. Please email NEED EMAIL ADDRESS with a link to the article or online posting with the understanding that we may quote your article for our future show marketing efforts.

An electronic media kit will be provided to invited and registered press.

Photography

Attendance at, or participation in, this conference constitutes consent to the use and distribution by IEEE of the attendee’s image or voice for informational, publicity, promotional and/or reporting purposes in print or electronic communications media. No flash photography shall be used.

Photographs of copyrighted PowerPoint or other slides are for personal use only and are not to be reproduced or distributed. Do not photograph any such images that are labelled as confidential and/or proprietary.
